What does Grid-Line haul?
Flatbed freight, steel first: coils, flat-rolled sheet, plate, bar, billet, wire rod and beam. We also move lumber (OSB, finished lumber, crane mats), bagged minerals, firebricks, super sacks, coal and abrasives, and pipe, tubing, machinery and empty containers. If it rides on a flatbed, we haul it.
Where do you deliver?
Across a 300+ mile radius of our Schererville, Indiana base: Chicagoland, Indianapolis, Butler, IN, Delta, OH, Jeffersonville, IN / Louisville, KY and Granite City, IL. Same-day or next-day delivery is the operational standard.
How heavy a steel coil can you move?
Single steel coils up to 72,000 lb, standup or skidded, on 48' and 45' flatbeds set up for coil.
Do you handle oversize or overweight loads?
Yes. Our drivers and staff are ready to assist with oversize and overweight material, and we know the regulations and permits needed to haul these loads safely and legally.
How do I get a quote?

What are your carrier credentials?
USDOT 2554662, MC 879988, SCAC GLNS. Auto liability is $1,000,000 combined single limit and motor truck cargo is $100,000. Certificates of insurance are issued directly during carrier setup.
